Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS, NIH). "The
nation's leading supporter of biomedical research on disorders of the
brain and nervous system." This site provides very comprehensive
and timely information. Major sections at the time of this review include
include Studies Seek Patients (Hundreds listed, from Adrenoleukodystrophy
to Zellweger Syndrome), Funding Opportunities from NINDS (Both Request
for Applications and Program Announcements), and a very nice list of Patient
Resources, Foundations, and Support Organizations. This list includes

web site is a very comprehensive collection of stroke information. Includes
both patient and professional articles and videos/webcasts. Some sections
